I am trying it. I have gone through two seasons so far so I can't
really give you much experience yet. I have done a little adaptation,
such as precomposting some of the material so that I can more easily
deal with spreading it on unused squares without excessive lumping.
I have 12" high raised beds some 2x4 feet some 3x6 feet.
Mostly I use grass clippings mixed with mown leaves over a thin layer
of earthwormed compost. I just keep putting on layers about 6 inches
deep, sometimes around growing plants.
BTW, I only found one of Ms. Stout's books, the "No Work Garden Book" I
think. I found it horribly repetitive. Were any of the other books more
informative? Or were they more collections of OG articles?
