RE: wire mesh?


   That would make excellent frame work to hold the small grade 
chicken wire which would keep out the bunnies.
   Concrete reinforcement mesh would also and might be cheaper 
but older folk would need to use a small pair of bolt cutters to cut 
it.  It could be formed in a vise or by bending the individual wires 
part way in two passes with a pair of lock grip pliers.  We call them 
vise grips.  A very handy tool since once locked on all effort goes 
into the job not into holding.
