Hit don't make no nevermind .. apple, banana, storebought tomatoe all
work. I vote for banana or apple as they will taste better than that
storebought tomatoe when their work is all done in that paper sack.

Could be uneven watering ... onset of a rainy season trigering rapid
growth, for instance, and the skin can't keep up with the inside growth.
They will still be good eating, though.
