I use the new red plastic mulch and still had blight. I also had
tomatoes in mid July that had been set out in mid May. I have had more
tomatoes even with the blight. I also cut fairly large holes (~6") to
plant in, as the mulch was not water permeable and I tend to get lazy
with the watering & just use a lawn sprinkler. I had hoped the mulch
would eliminate the blight, but no cigar.
