Hello,
I have recently noticed that the leaves of my cucumber plants have tiny
caterpillar like bugs on them and that the leaves are all being eaten by
these bugs. I would like to know if I can still throw these plants into
the compost pile or should I throw out any plants with bugs on them.
Will they just overwinter in my compost pile and be more abundant next
year?
By the way next year I know better than to plant cucumbers and pole
beans in the same 4 x 4 square, I have cukes where the beans should be
and beans where the cukes should be, it was impossible to keep them
apart! Live and learn.
