We picked up our load of horse manure today.  It is well rotted 
already, but I plan on incorporating it into my existing compost heap 
and then making new ones.  So far, it looks like this will be a never 
ending source of manure.  Let's hope the people don't get selfish 
with their gold. <g>

I am going to be going down to the garden today and planting some 
winter crops.  Does anyone have any experience with winter cover 
crops and growing root veggies?  Will the cover crop interfere with 
the veggies?  Should I plant the cover crop away from where I plan to 
plant my cover crop?  I don't have my cover crop seed yet, and I am 
planning on doing that soon.
