Mini-Greenhouses - Thanks!

Some months ago, one of you described how to make mini-greenhouses out of
big plastic pop bottles by cutting off the bottom and placing the remainder
over the seedlings like a bell jar.

Well, I tried it, and I love it!  So far, it has kept the bugs and bunnies
at bay, kept the soil moist around my sprouts, and shielded them from
driving rain.  Even on hot days, it seems to cool the plants as a
condensation layer forms inside the bottle and reflects off some light.  I
leave the tops open to prevent overheating.

Unfortunately, I didn't keep the original message, so I'll just thank the
group as a whole.  I learn something every day on this list.
