Did you plant your carrot seeds during the time your extension agent's material
says to plant carrots in your area? My guess is that if it is hot enough for
watermelon, it might be too hot for carrots. I don't know where you are. I
haven't had any luck with carrots yet either. I think my problem is heavy soil
and bad timing.
