Re: failure to thrive for some

Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html

Well, Kevin, that was very helfpul for me. I planted some of my fall garden
a week or more ago, and while my bush beans and peas have sprouted and are
doing nicely, my carrots have NOT. In fact, I've been feeling pretty bummed
out about it today, as I realized that my carrot crop is (so far, at least)
a failure. Since we are still having temps in the low- to mid-90s (ugh!! --
*only* 9 degrees above normal) and they're in a raised bed to boot, perhaps
it's NOT just *me* and my black thumb.

Okay, so I'll try again with the carrots. It's got to cool down sometime, right?

Thanks,

Patricia S.

P.S. BTW, I think I have that Sunset book and I think it's topnotch. I
picked it up somewhere used, and I really like it. Probably ought to read
more of it! ;-)
