Wow.  I'm doing a Homer Simpson, smacking my head and muttering "Doh" over a 
lot of this.  Need to rethink the dog poop (kill the worms -- of course it 
will!) and fertilizer, I think.  
I have started one small pile that's a "dump everything and leave it" one, 
and I'll have time to leave it all.
Thanks to everyone for the lessons.  It's very kind of you to take the time 
to spend time educating the less experienced -- I bet there are a number of 
lurkers who're echoing in appreciation.
I'm saving these notes.
