OK, all you sq ft "masters" - I need help. I'm about to add fall soil
amendments like manure and such. Since the only thing left in my sq ft
garden is watermelons - I covered the unused squares with big sheets of
cardboard... figuring they'd protect the soil, it's been really dry here as
well.
When I lifted the edge of one of the pieces of cardboard (hoping to see
worms.... silly me) there were huge masses of fireants. This is my
question - how the heck do I get rid of these suckers??
Alabama, southeast, I think zone 7 or 8......
