It's a beauty, isn't it?  I grow this one too and so far it's been a pretty good grower.  That's a great picture John.

It took me a couple of years to get this one in my garden it was in such
demand.

The first picture is what it normally looks like. The second picture is
the terminal bud on a stalk that had to weather a lot of temperature
shifts. First time this happened to VD.
