First planted in Aug. 2000 increase was adequate as it usually is with the first year "bump" characteristic of  Keppel supplied rhizomes . It contracted minor rot the second year 2001 and increase was nil. No action was taken to cure. It came on strong in 2002 with an increase of 7x which is above average for here. Recommended as a good iris here.

Interestingly, I did not know it was a broken color plant when I acquired it and it did not bloom with any broken color the first year. Bloomed solid. I thought what a great pink iris. I preferred it to Happenstance acquired at the same time. I recall wondering                                                               "what kind of dreams could a person have that prompts him to name such a grand flower broken?" God watches out for us dumb. I like this iris and it's habits a lot!
