I made this cross hoping to get a shoe brown with velvet.  Not quite on the
brown, but it does go that direction.  The velvet was more successful.  I'm
not sure how well you can tell from the photo, but the standard on this one
show the kind of velvet I'm more accustomed to seeing on the falls of
blooms.  It and one other have bloomed here before and so far escaped the
compost pile.  A new sibling that bloomed this week won't be so lucky.  Most
of the siblings have preceded it.
