CULT: unprotected bed, tougher plants

In the previous photo of the covered vs uncovered rows, most of the
plants in those first two rows are seedlings. I covered them so I could
get rid of the rejects, but I guess I <could> have let ma nature do that
for me :-(

This bed is closer to the house, so isn't quite as exposed as the rows,
but damage to the seedling on the left was about the same as to this
same seedling (tall dark and handsome "dusky grape") in the open rows.

The undamaged plants on the right side of the bed are HARVEST OF
MEMORIES, IMMORTALITY (gee, what a surprise <g>) and something sold at
WalMart as LACY SNOWFLAKE that seems to be correctly ID'd. There may be
some others there that I'm overlooking - will let you know of other
heroic survivors.
