It's a beautiful flower.  I really like the change in color on the rim. 
 
Maybe you can work on a "candy cane stripe" where it switches from one to another and back again more than once.  Yours already does it once as it switches from color 1 to 2 at the bottom and back to 1 again as it moves up the other side.  Never know what the future will bring.
