Re: Double colored rim

Doesn't the mauve rim looks discoloured pink, or the pink looks like discoloured mauve?
 
Could you send me a bigger  picture off line so i can see it better?

Second seedling this year with a rim on the falls that starts as one color on the top and ends up a different color on the bottom.  To me, it gives a nice effect and adds interest.  Like the standards too.  anybody else experiencing similar results with fall rims?
