mauve vs. taupe

Got mixed up on the color name. I was thinking taupe but used mauve.
Ugly color, IMO. Sort of grayish brown with a dollop of pink thrown
in. Works well here, though. Doesn't pay to be too definite about
such things 'cause you'll surely end up having to eat the words.
Exceptions inevitably come around. :).
