Re: Michigan Pride -Ex of that spine on end of beard -Berndt 1975


Hi Linda,

It's hard to tell if that's a raised beard spine or a proto horn from
the photo. Horns were apparently seen in the Sass seedling beds in the
20's and promptly disgarded as mutants prior to the Austin Space Age
years in the 50's.

One might argue that most Irises have at least one dose of SA genes.
