Re: HYB: 07H1

Mark and Kelly (off list)  --  Thanks.  Here's a photo of 07H1 a couple of days later.  It is 9 1/2 inches tall and stands above its foliage.  Í think I may have to ask Keith Keppel for help in naming the colors.  --  Griff

G'day Griff,

I really like this seedling of yours. It reminds me of Thomas Johnson's '06 intro "Wild Angel".

Send over two rhizomes please! LOL

Thanks for sharing.

I'm getting lots of bloom from first-year MDB, SDB and IB seedlings this year.  Usually, I get virtually none.  Many of them, however, look like teenagers, rather than adults, so I'll be waiting until next year (or maybe even another year) to see how they look when they've matured.  Also, many of them are extremely vigorous, putting up several bloomstalks.  (I've seen up to eight in some clumps. The seedling beds are going to be very crowded.  I'm also getting several bloomstalks among the first-year TBs.  Usually, I get none.  A very interesting year.

So, here's 07H1.  The cross is 05M1:(Kit Fox x 20A10:(Blitz x Haven)) X ELFIN SENTINEL.  I think it's worth blowing up with whatever photo manipulator you may have.  The colors and pattern are far from what I expected from the parents.  --  Griff
