Seems to be some confusion here.

To post to iris-photo@yahoo.com you have to subscribe through Yahoo Groups.

Mallorn and Hort.net have nothing to do with whether you can post to iris-photos or not.

Hort.net hosts i*@hort.net and you have to subscribeas follows:

Subscribe to i*@hort.net by sending:

Subscribe iris (in the message body not the subject line)

Yahoo archives no longer have the photos in them. Iris-photos message and photo archives are at Hort.net (http://www.hort.net/lists/iris-photos/).
