Do you know if these fade or are less dark under different environmental conditions. Here's a seedling photo, taken in 1993. This was early in the morning in full shade, so it shows the colors but not the fully expanded form. In arilbreds, I've noticed that the background color in the photo seems to affect color perception more than growing conditions.
