{Disarmed} RE: HYB: Dark seedling

I hope to have both of those Purple Pirouette X Romantic Evening seedlings grown in guest gardens at the 2008 Austin AIS convention along with seven other of my favorite seedlings.  I may register them next year.  They are good irises, but neither is perfect.

Francelle, just saw the pic on the black seedling.  WOW WOW.  Beautiful.  Send more info.  How tall? how many buds?  Would you allow it to be shown as a seedling in slide shows.  You absolutely must keep it and maybe guest it out.

Here is a sibling of the black seedling I posted earlier.  It’s shorter, lighter colored and produces lots of big blossoms on 33” stalks.  It definitely has the mahogany hafts.
