John's email warnings always sound crabby. Try not to take it personally.
Tip for learning your photo software and how it's affecting file size -
use your browser to open the file & see how big it is before attaching
it to an email message.
For example, in Internet Explorer, click the <File> icon (upper left),
then <Open>, then <browse>. Click the "files of type" pull down menu at
the bottom and select jpg or all files or whatever you photo is stored
as. Find the photo file you want to post. If you don't have the
default set to display file details, click on the little display icon on
the upper right (in my version of Explorer - hopefully you can find it
in other versions), then click <details>.
One of the columns is <file size>. Use your photo editing software to
get file size to ~50 kb or less.
