Subject: [iris-photos] COMP: trashed - warning

 

After it was too late (computer infected), I learned (the hard way) that
the most recent upgrade of FIREFOX (which Firefox automatically
downloaded & installed last week) was incompatible with my antivirus
software, Trend Micro.

So my computer was trashed, had to haul it ~60 miles round trip to the
doctor, and now am stuck using Gatesware and am $100 poorer.

I don't know whether I'm more disgusted with Firefox or Trend Micro, who
is encouraging me to buy more software from them (just renewed in June)
and apparently kept emailing me while computer was in the shop wanting
to know if their solution (to wait for their new software release next
month) took care of my problem.

grrr....

And still in the 90s every day & no rain. Crunchy dry grass.
