Re: More Iris possible ID's

Laetitia, Beaux Arts looks right to me.  It is from Plough '68.  S. between phlox pink and mallow purple. Falls lighter, hafts buttercup yellow.  I grew it for a few years.  It's very pretty, but it didn't do very well here in the heat, and its substance was very poor.  I no longer have it .
Francelle Edwards  Glendale AZ  Zone 9 where we are having heavy frosts every night.  It is the chill the irises need, but it's not good for the buds on the rebloomers.

Subject: [iris-photos] More Iris possible ID's

OK, only a few more to go tonight. Then I'll stop for a while. Promise.
As I mentioned before, I am trying to find out if these iris pictures are
possibly what they are named. If you grow or know any of these, please let
me know.
It is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Laetitia

1. Beauty Crown (1973) - does NOT match the AIS description
2. Beaux Arts - haven't a clue
3. Bedtime Story - seems to match description
4. Beyond (Gibson 1978) - this is probably right

Thanks again.
Laetitia
