One more....

This is SHAPE SHIFTER.

Mama was ADRENALINE RUSH who is JI X Siberian. Daddy was I. pseudacorus. The idea that species-crosses must always be sterile or nearly so seems to be outdated. This kid is outrageously self-fertile. Think "bunny rabbit".

Two of 24 of her seeds used in germination tests this fall have already popped up. Still only 5" and 6" tall, one has 2mm wide leaves and no rib (Siberian) and the other has 4mm wide leaves and a very heavy rib (JI).

We have a *lot* of crosses planned for this one next year. ;-)
