[PHOTO] City Lights


 

I cut the stalk to save it from a hard freeze that night, and this is what it looked like on my dining table Dec. 27.  It’s badly clumped, but pretty anyway.  I believe that clumping is caused by stress.  Stalks that bloom in near freezing temperatures or in temperatures over 100 degrees commonly do it.
