Re: REF: More info about Google and Shadowood's Iris Search

It sure did help. This spring OC will try different times of day, and see
what that does for him. He has a Rebel XT, new last February and loves it,
particularly the 18-55 mm kit lens for flowers.(not much of a people
photographer)

He tried the Auto setting, but it seemed to always overexpose the images. He
started using the Aperture setting (F-22) and letting the camera set the
shutter. It worked a lot better that way. Having very shaky hands, he does
always use a tripod. He has used a Hoya Polarizing filter to enhance the
light sometimes...

Didn't get many Iris photos last spring, because of a late freeze, just as
they started to open. Did get a LOT of pretty Lilium pictures though. As OC
had told you he lifted, divided, and replanted most of his Iris his fall.
Maybe next year will be a better Iris year....

I too use Photoshop Elements 3, but very poorly. Hope to do a lot better
this spring....
been working on last year's images over the winter...

Thank you so much for your comments........Look forward to going back and
seeing them again.....A most appreciative Old Coot
