John Jones has been VERY patient with me...
I kept making a fool of myself...

So i couldn't imagine to have any kind of control over what's in fact  displayed without my doing anything about it!

I forgot to thank you for the funny picture of the newspaper reader in the cold... made me laugh!

I just learned of cnet.com.  It is free classes and the 4th lesson is on this metadata info that we may can add to our photos over and beyond what the camera adds.  What the camera does we can not change.  Still strange about that 1970's that shows up on that pix. But that's not my issue.  I just want to get where when I send a pix my name is on the info.  The odd thing in your case is, your name is on some and some not.  I just don't know what you are doing diff. to get your name to come up in that data.

The  thing called EXIF is what all that info you get on your camera auto.
But there is a IPTC were you can insert your name.  So wondering if that is something you did, maybe w/o knowing it.

I just got pixs from my husband in Perth, and it had all that info. He's just in a rental store to send me a pix.   So you are right, it is something auto w camera's these days.  It's nothing to do w programs. Still how is your name on it and why is it random.  It is not on all your pixs.

i think it's the camera that does the trick.it automaticly puts all this data on each picture!
i use the software that was sold with it to play with the photos on my computer, it's very handy, much better than the nomal windows thing that is on the computer;

 I just went through random photos from various people that send photos in and most don't give the info yours do.  I like knowing what camera took pix and date.  I don't know if my pixs come through this way to others or not.  Some way your computer must be set up to do this.  Any ideas from anyone of how to do this??  Yours don't always give your name, but does always give the camera.

When I save a pix, I go into a special properties and make note of who sent it and where I got it from and date etc.  With yours it is already done for me.  Sure does save me time.

Thought this pix might some up you guys' feelings in the North.  Now I don't know where I got that pix, but see== I wish I knew.  With your system I'd know.
