ADMIN:Why do the Read: messages not open?

I guess this means I need to add something to our list policies. that being, do not send messages to the list with the "notify when  read"  attribute set.

I could figure out who has been doing it but it would take a little research and I prefer to spend my time else wise. So I hope that they read this and stop of their own accord.

Thanks

John

Hi

You get this type of message when someone has the tracking feature of Outlook set to notify sender when the recipient of an
email reads it.  The recipient would either have to manual send a read message or have Outlook options to automatically send a read message to the sender.

There may be other programs that have tracking options but Outlook is one I know of.
