Sorry to hear about your husband and I will miss seeing you at the convention. Loved looking at your sdlg photos in your room last year.
I am not going to be able to attend Region 15's trek as it is the weekend before our SFVIS show and I am Artistic Chair. That is the weekend I have to twist all the arms to get people to enter arrangements as Monday is the final due date. I didn't know that your garden is on the trek and I am very sorry to miss it. At least Jill Bonino will take lots of great pictures to bring back to us to see.
Kathy's talk last week at our club was great. Everyone enjoyed it. She also did a JT for those who needed credit.
I know how busy a guest garden can keep you. I did mine last time it was here. Luckily, when the national comes to So. Cal. in 2012 the gardens will be out in Riverside/San Bernadino not the San Fernando Valley. We are involved but it is in Reg. packets, boutique, Registration, etc. areas, not gardens.
In reference to your pink seedling, you wrote:
It gets rebloom genes from Barbara My Love, but neither show any sign of reblooming here. Crossed with Cloud Reflection, from 50 or more seedlings, four are sending up stalks which may indicate rebloom. I remember from last year that most were a light orange that I don’t like.
Please remember - many of us DO like orange. If they are good other than the color, please consider them for us.
Have a good day, Jan

I’m not going to be able to go to the convention this year. My husband has been having some health problems, so I don’t want to leave him. Also our iris club is hosting Regeon 15’s spring trek. I am growing a guest garden for it, and that is keeping me busy. Francelle Edwards Glendale, AZ Zone 9

Hi Francelle, Yes, it has been confusing. I hope your problem stops as well as all this other stuff.
Keep up the good work. Your seedlings are wonderful. Hope to see you in Kansas City. Be sure to bring pictures of your latest babies because I know you will have things open just before the convention.

From: Francelle <fjmjedwards@ qwest.net> Hello, Jan and all, I never sent that e-mail. I have no idea what is going on with it. Some one sent a message on Iris-Photos requesting photos. In order to reply, I had to send a verification. I decided not to, and clicked, “No” Since then I get strange messages every time I click on Need of Pictures. I wish it would stop.

Hi Francelle and all,
Does anyone understand why, everytime the Subject line has Read: I cannot get anything. I get an attachment which says WINMAIL.DAT (1kb). No matter how I try to open it all I get is strange letters and symbols. No readable messages, pictures, or ???
Here is what this email from Francelle opens into:
xŸ>"1 ä è € IPM.Microsoft Mail.Read Receipt
I seem to receive everything which does not have Read: in the subject line. Only these are a problem. I have been getting them for the last 10-12 days from several different people, including Steven Hill and Ross Spencer.
Thank you to anyone who can enlighten me or tell me how to open them to read what they contain.
