TB: Pacific Mist

Evening all -

 

and thanks for the kind comments about my Atys photo from the other day.  Here's a photo of Pacific Mist (Schreiner, '79), taken last June.  I've been a member of irisphotos and iristalk for 3 or 4 years, and have piped up here and there, but am only just starting to post pictures; definately an amateur!  These pics were taken with a Minolta Maxxum 300si (sounds like a kind of car - grin).  I know virtually nothing about cameras, but this one takes wonderful pictures for folks like me.  The photos were developed onto a cd, and only slightly manipulated with my photo editing program - cropping and such, no color adjustments.  They come out ok.  Just got a digital camera for xmas, so I'll be trying that out this coming bloom season, which begins in mid-May here for me with the sdb's.  I know even less about digital cameras, so it'll be fun.  :)

 

Well, just wanted to be mannerly and say hello again, like I said, I've introduced myself in the past, but I'm pretty quiet.  I do log on almost every day and have been for several years, and want to say that all of your photos are wonderful - a real inspiration to us amateur growers up here in the willywags!
