Subject: [iris-photos] PHOTO; Power Woman (was: blue beards in one cross...

Margie, here are two different photos of POWER WOMAN.  The first is from a Kodacolor print scanned into .jpg, a process that tends to shift the color of PW a lot toward the blue.  I have corrected more or less under a 60 watt bulb overhead and a monitor that is a little too dark and too rich.

The second is a photo of a group this past spring using a digital camera which shifts the color to the red. The registration cites the colors as "plum purple" and "royal purple" using the Wilson HCC.

The beard color is uniformly very rich blue on the purple side, then turns orange about 1/8th inch from the inside end.  You have to break apart the flower to see it.

I think both these images already have been posted on this site.  I trust the repeat posting will offend no one except the keeper of the kb's used.
