Re: seedling 952G8 (was Re; Seedling Photos)

Hi Griff,

Lovely........ very nice.  This one reminds me of Lights, Camera, Action too. You have some interesting parents in the background - I'd keep it in the stable too.  :-)

Okay, Mary Lou  --  because you want to see more seedlings and because we've been talking about Blyth irises, here's 952G8, an older seedling of mine with which I haven't done much because it's a late bloomer and I'm a late planner.  (An early planner could do more with a late bloomer  --  right?.)  Anyhoo, the cross here is 93L6:((WABASH x (WABASH x Crossman yellow seedling)) x CHINESE TREASURE.  The colors in the photo are true.  Nothing remarkable has come of it yet, but I'm still keeping it in the stable.  --  Griff

Never get enough of seedling photos, especially this time of year!  Please post any you have, even if they're not wonderful.  I learn as much from  failures as from successes.  Just, please, give the seedling # and parentage with the photo. Additional info on vigor, bud count, branching, etc.  is great, too.

Watching my seeds sprouting got me this far, but it's kind of like watching paint dry.  Three more months to get through before Mulberry Echo starts the show.

Please post those photos!
