[PHOTO] Last garden shot


My wife spotted a newspaper ad for a 5 acre foothill lot with a 360 degree view. Two weeks later we owned that lot. The earlier posting was the view to the west from the master bedroom balcony. The attached view is a ground level view toward the north. It is actually the best view. Where the horizon intersects with the right edge is a small view of the Sierra Nevada peaks.
 
Just for those you are going to ask about the irises. Right to left. Violet is Jehosaphat's Reliance. The light colored blooms are Absolom's Treachery. Both are Pete McGrath introductions. The violets in the middle are some of Pete's seedlings. The light one on the left is Desert Dove.
 
Re Walter's comment about an article on pots for AIS. I will contact Bruce to see if he has any interest.
