Thank you for the great compliment Michael. I usually
just shoot the flowers under normal garden conditions
but once in a while I will cut the stalk and take it
to a more picturesque spot and set up some shots. I
believe that is what I did with the flat bloom. I took
that pic at least 10 years ago so I can't remember
what I did. Flat blooms are difficult to photograph
because you literally have to get on top of the bloom
to photograph it, tough to achieve with some TBs.
