It sure looks like it's going to be slim pickings
for SA seedlings this year. I still have the perennial spathe borer
problem that has damaged and caused many of the buds to rot. If been able
to control Iris borers with Cygon 2E but these nasty little white borers I call
spathe borers are most irritating ! My only hope is to try Imidicloprid
based products but these are still not available in Canada.
Anyway, here is a seedling with greenish tan
standards that I believe is from Thornbird. It shares some
similarities with Donald's seedling, especially with the nice bald sword like
horns it has.
