Re: HYB: HUMOR: evaluating seedlings

Last years drought and the subsequent water restrictions and rationing;
any attempt to evaluate seedlings in Northern Virginia is a waste of
time. The average bud count overall was about 6 for seedlings and
established rhizomes. A stalk with 7 buds was unusual.
