Those are black with lengthwise stripes and relativly fewer bristles than your
specimen.
Your speciment reminds me of what we call "wooly worms". WW's
are reportedly good indicators of weather for the upcoming winter, depending
on the amount of dark/white stripes.
but I'm sure there are any number
of species that are not wooly worms that have the bristles like
that.
