Re: JI convention?

Christy, the information is on page 21 of the Spring 2009 SJI REVIEW.  It will go up on the SJI Website soon.

The Greater Portland Iris Society is hosting the Japanese Iris Convention, in Portland, Oregon, June 2011. Hybridizers of Iris Ensata and related hybrids are invited to send recent introductions and/or seedlings under serious consideration. A number of guest irises were received during the fall of 2008.
For those who prefer to send guest irises in 2009, shipment will be accepted during the spring of 2009, until April 15, 2009.
Send guest plants to:
Terry & Barbara Aitken
608 NW 119th Street
Vancouver, Washington 98685-3802
Guidelines: Up to three divisions of each variety may be submitted. The name of the variety or seedling number must be clearly marked on each division. In addition, a packing list with the following information must be enclosed:
1. Hybridizers name, address, email, phone number
2. Name or seedling number of variety
3. Description, distinguishing characteristics, diploid, tetraploid, hybrid, bloom season: E,M,L.
A receipt will be sent to all contributors.
Only officially submitted guest iris will appear in the convention booklet. The Convention Committee and the owners of guest iris gardens will follow the code of ethics as printed in the AIS Convention Handbook.

Subject: [iris-photos] JI convention?

You mentioned the 2011 JI convention... I don't see any info online about it. Can you give us details?
