Hi Francelle, thank-you for your post of Aribreds.  Mind if I ask where you get yours?  I ordered some just a few weeks ago.  I have never tried them before, any thing you call tell me about them?  Like does or don'ts.  Your picture was beautiful, I can hardly wait. My iris season has begun!  On my private garden tour this morning I saw that the Arilbreds had burst into bloom overnight.  Here are the dark purple Kalifa's Robe and the light rose-lavender Heart Stealer.  Of course a bird had discovered them first.  Notice the broken standards on Kalifa's Robe.  Birds just can't leave purple irises alone.
