pc iris

have seen many pictures of pc iris on this bb basicly they are grown 
on the west coast the temps are milder there than on the east coast
question would they servive in the mid-atlantic area where we get to 
zero or a little below some years and have crazy snows that hang on 
the ground for days  summer sometimes over 100
would they winter over outside          clem
