HYB: CULT: seedlings in bigger pots

  • Subject: [PHOTO] [iris-photos] HYB: CULT: seedlings in bigger pots
  • From: Linda Mann <lmann@volfirst.net>

After a month, the germinated seedlings were transplanted to these
bigger pots, then the small 4 paks were put back outdoors for more
chilling. After a month outdoors, the ungerminated seeds were brought
back in for another month of germination.

Most of the seedlings in the photo have been in these pots about a month
and are ready to be lined out. The pots were half filled with fluffy
slightly weathered horse droppings from my driveway, the other half with
a mixture of potting mix and creek sand.

All were watered with Miracle Gro with trace elements off and on from
the time they were first planted.

The seeds that were planted outdoors are just starting to germinate
