Hi
Loïc;
You are reminding me that I have to go
around and replant a few that the squirrels dug up over winter. )-; Looks
like you are going to have a great display this year.
We have had it turn around and snow on
our crocii recently so how safe the plants are at present is anyone's
guess.
Here we had some new growth on plants
like clematis, hydrangeas, etc., and then a sudden cold snap that has killed the
shoots so we are definitely looking forward to seeing what has survived
here. We *have* been assuming that spring is close based upon the
activity with all the eagle webcams http://www.hancockwildlife.org/index.php?topic=cam-sites I
gather one of the nests has an egg as of two days ago, so presume we can't turn
back to winter now.
Believe it or not, after 3 months of non-stop
freeze, the irises are still alive and almost kicking :
Except the seeds that are still sound asleep in
their pots, everything is starting to grow!
Is that what is called Spring, at
last?
