RE: Will be asking Edith to leave

Jurassic Park does wonderfully here in the Arizona heat.  It is larger than EW, but it has a grayed purple that isn’t as pretty.  I like Thrillseeker, a dead ringer for EW, but not a fast grower either.  Cooley’s have a stunning iris in that color class, Talk to Me.  Edith Wolford gives trouble to many people.  It died for me.

Subject: [iris-photos] Will be asking Edith to leave

Edith Wolford, three years old in my garden, does not perform.
Planted in 2000, she put up one small flower in 2001. Have not seen
her flower since. She is rather a party pooper and I will remove her
from my iris party this year.

I've seen mention of
Jurrasic Park as a good Edith subsitute.

Commnets?
