I took this picture about an hour and a half ago, when the SUN (yes, we have
SUN today, I'm not sure anybody around here knows what to DO with all the
sunlight and warmth!!!) was in a perfect spot. The iris is in shade now so I
can't recreate this photo, and who knows when the next sunny day will be!
Anyway, having bad vision stinks. I took the pic, I looked at it on my
camera, was very pleased with it, came inside, looked at it on screen,
full-size, and that was when I noticed that darn BUG!!! I had box elder
beetles last year. I thought I had gotten rid of them. ARGH!!!!!
BTW, does anybody else grow this iris? It's a first-time bloomer for me and
for some reason I was expecting a the blue to be lighter and less
purple-looking.
