The
guys at Superstition Gardens used the term that Bill didn't understand in
their catalog. I was replying to Bill's message. They used PC
("Politically Correct") in its broadest sense to mean that this "Joseph's Coat
Katkamier" was now the correct name to differentiate it from Barr's TB.
That usage of "PC" is not exactly right because PC refers to the sensitivity
one needs to have in referring to people. For example, one says African
American instead of the "N" word. When Bob Pries did the SIGNA
Checklist, he did the same with Bronze Beauty, adding the name VanTubergen to
it. It was re-registered as such by ASI in 2001, so it doesn't appear yet in
any hardbound checklist from AIS. The 2002 printed ASI Checklist now
calls it Bronze Beauty VanTubergen.
