Re: (no subject)

Francesca,

The guys at Superstition Gardens used the term that Bill didn't understand in their catalog.  I was replying to Bill's message. They used PC ("Politically Correct") in its broadest sense to mean that this "Joseph's Coat Katkamier" was now the correct name to differentiate it from Barr's TB.  That usage of "PC" is not exactly right because PC refers to the sensitivity one needs to have in referring to people.  For example, one says African American instead of the "N" word.  When Bob Pries did the SIGNA Checklist, he did the same with Bronze Beauty, adding the name VanTubergen to it. It was re-registered as such by ASI in 2001, so it doesn't appear yet in any hardbound checklist from AIS.  The 2002 printed ASI Checklist now calls it Bronze Beauty VanTubergen.
