TB: Iris from Region 21 / TBIS

For those of you that missed it, Region 21 invited TBIS to share their convention, this spring, in Lincoln, Nebraska.  Region 21, and Lincoln in particular outdid themselves and a grand time was had by all.  We were there Saturday night as tornados danced around us and heavy rain fell all over the area.  Luckily, Sundays gardens came through it in wonderful shape and the garden tours were very nice.  I will be posting several pictures on iris-photos of this good time!!

TBIS is proud to announce that their 2005 spring meeting will be held in St. Louis with the AIS National Convention!!

Subject: [iris-photos] Bloom Season Almost Over

The bloom season is almost over here in northern Nebraska, but we’ve had a wonderful

year in spite of horrendous weather!  Was in Lincoln last weekend and saw 6 beautiful gardens.  One

was decimated by the storm that night, but not before we had toured it.  Each year I am learning more

and more about iris and especially enjoy meeting others who are devotees.  Iris photos has been a wonderful

resource as has the AIS online checklist.  I currently have my irises listed in an Excel workbook, but notice

that many have a database.  If anyone can tell me where I might obtain one for Access, I’d appreciate the information.
